Stress is a major factor in life and can sometimes seem overwhelming. But as Christians, we know that there is hope. The best way to remain hopeful is to read the word and keep it buried in our hearts.

Because we wear so many hats, (e.g. mom, dad, manager, teacher, son, daughter, student, employee) we have a great deal of pressures.

It is sometimes difficult to stay positive and remain energized. And I always managed to find strength and encouragement in every verse.

Things didn't change right away, but over time, something on the inside of me changed. I was really confident and secure.

Because, I was reading the word, I was able to speak the word. And suddenly, the days seemed a little brighter and my burdens weren't so overwhelming.

More importantly, I began to see a change in myself.

My problems no longer controlled me, I had authority over them. And one day I realized that I was experiencing the peace of God that surpassed all understanding. I had peace in the midst of my storms and victory was just beyond the horizon.
