CHRISTIAN GRACE SCRIPTURE READING:

Ephesians 2:8--"For by grace you have been saved through faith,and that not of yourselves, It is the gift of God (9)not of works lest anyone should boast.

Ephesians is a good reminder that God's grace is the only thing that can save us. We aren't saved by our good works.

No amount of mission work or choir singing can save us. We are saved only by God's grace through faith.

• Genesis 6:8--"But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord."
• Romans 1:7--"To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints:"
• 2 Corinthians 12:9--"And He said to me "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." 'ThereforeI take pleasure in infirmities, that the power of Christ may restupon me.
• James 4:6--"But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."
