Confession Prayer

My Personal Experience with Confession Prayer

Confession Prayer

You may be under a great deal of stress at this very moment. But know that it is only temporary. Perhaps you're planning a wedding, or struggling with an unplanned pregnancy of your own or someone you love.

Take a moment, breath deeply and say to yourself "weeping endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning." And then say, "...all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purposeā€ (Rom. 8:28 KJV).

God recognizes his own word, so don't worry about saying it just right. If you spoke those words, then you've just prayed a prayer of confession. See how easy that was?

Thank God for my learning about Confession Prayer. After consistently praying confessions of faith,

I can honestly say that my life is continues to get better and better.

Sure I have challenging days. But I'm not without hope. No matter how bad it gets, I remember what he's already brought me through, I pray, and I press forward.

At one time, I was so stressed that I was taking antidepressants. My bills were 30-60-90 and 120 days late. I was getting payday loans to cover emergencies, and as you could probably imagine, my health was the pits. My blood pressure was high and I was having anxiety attacks.

My pastor preached one Sunday about the power of words. I'll never forget it, "Life and death is in the power of the tongue." What I spoke from my mouth, would manifest in my life. It was that day that I sat down and started writing faith confessions.

Financial Prayer:My sample prayer and action plan for finances.

Every day, any time of the day, I prayed the confessions. When I felt anxious, I prayed a confession of Peace.

As I took my medication, I prayed a confession of Healing. I also prayed confessions of Favor over my finances and for promotion on my job. And last but certainly not least, I cannot leave out my prayers of confession for Courage!

Confession for our children: A very simple confession that I pray over my sons life each day.

Today, I am healthier, my bills are caught up, I'm on my way out of debt, and I'm no longer taking anti-depressants. Oh, and the anxiety attacks are gone too.

I'm really excited to share these confessions with you. I know that you will be as blessed by them as I have been.

Be Blessed!

Scripture Confessions

God has given you powerful promises in His Word - peace, joy, health, provision, and more. But how can these promises become reality in your life? It starts with your words.

The book of Proverbs states that life and death are in the power of the tongue. What you talk about, what you bring to pass. When you begin to say the same thing God has promised you, faith will build in your heart and your life will begin to change. Start declaring these Scripture Confessions for yourself and set your life on the course for an abundant future.
