Prayer for Financial Help

A friend emailed me this prayer, and I thought it would be great to share it with you.

But first, let me share a personal testimony about my own finances.

I myself have been in some very serious financial binds. I mean, like not having grocery money or gas money for the car.

Or having to make a decision between purchasing asthma medication or food. Being broke is no fun. And being in debt up to your ears is no day in the park either.

Even though I am a Christian, I've experienced debt, lack, and poverty. At one point in my life, I was living in a rat-infested shack and receiving government assistance.

When I prayed, God gave me a plan. First, I needed to become a giver to the Kingdom of God. Though I didn't have much, I gave. Giving to God gets him involved in your finances. Once God was involved, things began to change.

Second, I needed help with my severely past due debts. The late fees and past due notices were overwhelming. Every card was maxed. Worst of all, I was very nervous and afraid of answering phone calls from creditors.

Thirdly, I researched credit counseling online. Most offered free debt consultations. Don't be afraid to call. Some companies even have online debt consultation forms. Last but not least, I continued to pray and confess that I was a lender and not a borrower. And that I was free from the bondage and stress of poverty and lack.

With prayer, debt counseling, and a serious attitude adjustment about my spending habits; I've changed my pay-check-to-pay-check-course. God heard me and He answered me.

No more late house payments; collection calls; and disconnection notices. It's not easy, but it is possible. God will help you are sincere.

GOD, I send up a prayer request for financial blessing for not only the person who sent this to me, but for me and all that I have forwarded this message on to.

And that the power of joined prayer by those who believe and trust in you is more powerful than anything! I thank you in advance for your blessings. God, deliver the person reading this right now from debt and debt burdens.

Release your Godly wisdom that I may be a good steward over all that You have given me GOD , for I know how wonderful and mighty you are and how if we just obey You and walk in Your word and have the faith of a mustard seed that You will pour out blessings.
